Reflection

Believers face any number of “impossible” tasks. But don’t let yourself get overwhelmed by the immense need you see when you look at the big picture. Focus on the specific areas in which you can play your part as God guides you. Remember, you follow the same Master the disciples did. He is all-powerful, all-knowing and all-loving. He is the Master of the impossible! Pray God would remove the word “impossible” from your vocabulary as you trust Him more and more to do His amazing work in your life.

Collect for the Day

God, who as at this time taught the hearts of your faithful people by sending to them the light of your Holy Spirit: grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgement in all things and evermore to rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits of Christ Jesus our Saviour, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
